Tournament Format & Details

To all our esteemed players we wish you a wonderful experience, day of golf, and lots of joy. You're about to play one of Southern California's most premiere and distinguished private courses, El Caballero. El Cab is both a 5-star private course and the former host of an LPGA event for 3 years... as well as many other top amateur events. It is for all of these reasons that we have the format, guidelines and details required to participate in this illustrious event on this tremendous golf course.

FORMAT:
• Shotgun start (11:00am) and standard 4-man scramble. (No five-somes allowed)
• El Caballero requires and provides a caddy per group. (Customary gratuity is $30 per man minimum).
• NO cell phone usage inside the clubhouse, and ultra-limited on the golf course.
• Carts are required to stay ON the cart path...PERIOD. (NO 90-degree rule. NO driving in the rough.)
• Guests, spouses, spectators are not allowed on the course.
• Lunch is served at the turn, commencing about 12:30p-3:00p. (Please pick up and continue play.)

DETAILS:
• Country club golf attire must be worn at ALL times.
• Golf shoes are required with soft spikes. Metal spikes are PROHIBITED.
• Collared shirts, golf slacks, pants, or shorts only.
• NO T-shirts, tennis shoes, street shoes, cargo short or jeans.
• Any player in violation of course dress code will be required to change or purchase items in the clubhouse.
• Each player must have their own bag/clubs. (Clubs may be rented on the day of the event if necessary.
